Jeremy Mahan and his wife in front of the purple Dump Ninja truck

About Dump Ninja

A stay-at-home dad, a purple truck, and a promise.

Dump Ninja Junk Removal is a locally owned junk removal and pet waste company on Matmor Road in Woodland, California, founded by Jeremy Mahan in August 2023. A family business, a 21-yard truck, and a standing rule: donate and recycle first, landfill last.

How it started

In August 2023, Jeremy Mahan posted this on Nextdoor:

"I have been a stay at home dad for 10 years and as of today, the last of my 4 kids are in school and I get to start working! I'm starting a junk removal business! I can remove trash, junk, furniture etc. If you want it gone, I will get it out! Call or text anytime."

That's the whole origin story. Ten years of running a house with four kids in it turns out to be decent training for junk removal: you learn to move fast, leave a room cleaner than you found it, and not make a big deal out of the mess.

It started with Jeremy, a pickup and the original trailer pictured here. Today, the purple truck holds 21 yards and a team shares the work. The promise remains: we name the price on site, then load, sweep, blow and leave the space clean.

Not a franchise

Dump Ninja is a family-owned business, built here and serving customers across our communities. The name on the truck belongs to the same business Jeremy started when his youngest children went to school.

Family is part of the reason behind the work. Our mission is to make people’s lives better by giving them back their space and time. That means treating your home with care, following through on the agreed price and leaving the space clean.

The crew

Our current team.

Every production employee is OSHA HAZWOPER certified, fully insured, and trained on the same standard: name the price first, sweep before you leave.

Roman grew up in Woodland. A loyal friend, he spends his free time enduro riding, snowboarding and fishing. He recently bought his first new truck—a milestone we’re proud to celebrate with him.

Roman is Dump Ninja’s longest-serving employee and the crew member our customers request most. His skill and care for the work embody our core value of excellence.

Fabian is a proud Navy veteran with more than 30 years of customer service experience. His background includes serving as a catering manager for a Mexican restaurant chain with more than eight Sacramento-area locations.

A die-hard Detroiter—Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings—Fabian brings blue-collar grit and his father’s advice to every job: “Never let anyone outwork you.” He enjoys the fast pace, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in carrying on Dump Ninja’s five-star service.

Married for 22 years, Fabian has three grown children and a French bulldog “grandson.” His approach is simple: work hard, take care of people, and keep moving forward.

“I’m Fabian. How can I help?”

What we believe

Mission. Make people's lives better by giving them back their space and time.

Vision. Be part of a community that makes room in their homes so they can make a difference in someone else's: less in landfills, more in the hands of people who need it.

Values. Excellence. Generosity. Landfill diversion.

The give-back is not a slogan

Working appliances get re-homed free through the Second Life program. Usable furniture goes to people who need it before it goes anywhere else. Cash, prizes and gift cards go back to the community through the monthly raffle. It's the reason a family business exists in the first place.

“This is the second time we have used them. As always, perfect from start to finish. Jeremy and his crew are extremely professional. They even cleaned the driveway before they left!”

“Jeremy was a lifesaver for me while cleaning out my mother’s house! He and Roman were professional, courteous, efficient, and meticulous. They came to haul stuff away four times and left the place spotless each time….they even cleaned 16 years of junk that had accumulated under the couch! Jeremy is focused on keeping stuff out of the landfill and does a lot of donating and recycling. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Worth every penny!”

Green isn't a slogan here.

If it still works, somebody should be using it. We donate, recycle and re-home whatever we can before anything sees a landfill.
