FAQ

How a Dump Ninja job works.

Dump Ninja Junk Removal answers the questions customers ask most: how to book, whether same-day is real, what we take, how the on-site price works, where the junk goes, and what happens if you say no to the number.

Single-item pickupStarting at $75

Appliances carry an environmental fee. Stairs can add to the price. Your approved on-site price is the maximum. For volume-priced items, more space than estimated never costs extra; less space means a lower price. Free on-site estimates reflect our commitment to excellence: an accurate price before you decide.

How our pricing works

Straight answers

Booking and same-day.

How do I book Dump Ninja?

Call or text (530) 444-4441, or book online. Send your city, full service address, complete item list and access details. We check travel time, job size and truck space before confirming a one-hour arrival window. Text is a first-class way to reach us; many customers never make a call.

Is same-day junk removal real?

Yes, and it is a phone or text thing, not an online booking thing. Call or text Dump Ninja and we will tell you straight whether the truck can get to your address today. It often can.

Do I need to be home?

For the estimate, yes, or someone who can say yes to the number. Dump Ninja names the price on site before anything moves, so a person needs to be there to hear it. After that, if the pile is outside, you can go about your day.

What are your hours?

We answer calls and texts 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. Crew visits are Monday–Saturday, with a confirmed one-hour arrival window. Sunday inquiries are welcome.

Straight answers

On the day.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay and Interac debit; Google Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay; Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Cash App; plus cash and checks. Ask about third-party payment plans for jobs over $500.

Can my price go up after I approve the estimate?

Your approved on-site price is the maximum you will pay. If your items take more truck space than we estimated, we honor that price. If they take less, we lower the price to match the space used.

Why do you give estimates in person?

Excellence means taking the time to give you an accurate estimate. We assess your items and access in person, explain the full price before work begins, and leave the decision to you. The estimate is free even if you choose not to book.

What happens when the crew arrives?

You call. We come look. We name the price on site. If you say go, Dump Ninja loads, sweeps the spot, and leaves. Two people, one truck, and you do not lift a thing.

What if I say no to the price?

Then Dump Ninja leaves. No charge, no pressure, no hard feelings. The estimate is free anywhere in our service area.

Do you really sweep up afterward?

Yes. Dump Ninja cleans the space the junk was sitting in: the garage floor, the driveway, the patio. It takes five more minutes and customers mention it in their reviews more than almost anything else.

Do I need to move things to the curb?

No. Dump Ninja comes into the house, the garage, the backyard or the storage unit and does the carrying. Stairs can add to the price, and we tell you the whole number before anything moves.

Will the crew be careful in my home?

Yes. Dump Ninja wears boots that come off or cover up when you ask, pads corners on tight turns, and is fully insured. Customers describe the crew as respectful in the reviews, and that word matters to us.

Straight answers

Items, fees and where it goes.

What do you take?

Furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, hot tubs, sheds, construction debris, tires, and most of what fills a garage. Dump Ninja cannot accept asbestos, medical waste, ammunition or wet-cell batteries, and takes paint only in limited quantities. The full list is on the items page.

Where does it all go?

Donation first, recycling second, landfill last. Working appliances go into Dump Ninja’s Second Life program and are re-homed free. Usable goods go to people who can use them. Metal, e-waste and mattresses go to recyclers. What is left goes to Yolo County Central Landfill in Woodland.

Is there a fee for a fridge?

Appliances with refrigerant carry an environmental fee, because the appliance goes sealed to a certified recycler who recovers the refrigerant. Dump Ninja tells you the whole number on site before anything moves. If the fridge still works, we re-home it free and waive that fee.

Veterans and seniors 65+ get 10% off every job.

Just tell us when you book — we take your word for it, no paperwork. It applies to everything, including the $75 single-item minimum, and it comes off the price we name on site, not off some higher number. One discount per job.
