The City of Davis recycling guide directs residents to the Yolo County Central Landfill for electronics drop-off. Check current acceptance and hours with the facility if you can safely transport the TV yourself. Decide whose television it is before it goes

Separate a landlord-owned TV from personal items and identify any stand, soundbar or console that is staying. If it is still wall-mounted, tell us during intake and arrange appropriate detachment before hauling; removal does not include repairing the wall or installing the replacement.

If the TV works, follow its manufacturer’s instructions to sign out of accounts and reset personal settings before it leaves. Keep the remote and matching stand with it if they are included. Tell us whether it works so reuse can be considered; a broken screen needs an appropriate electronics destination instead of being represented as a usable donation.
